  2018년 그 어느 해 보다 활발한 활동을 펼친 아이콘이 새로운 앨범 [NEW KIDS : THE FINAL]을 통해 한 해 세 번째 컴백이라는 보기 드문 행보를 걷는다.

  이번 앨범의 타이틀곡 [이별길]은 올해 초 대중의 큰 사랑을 받은 [사랑을 했다]와 막판까지 타이틀로 경쟁했던 곡이다. 가을의 계절감과 너무도 잘 어울려 1년 가까이 공개 시기를 기다려온 곡으로, 이별에 대한 서정적인 아름다운 가사와 멜로디가 압권인 곡이다. 또한 프로듀서 B.I의 발전을 어느 곡보다도 뚜렷하게 느낄 수 있는 곡이기도 하다. 느린 미디엄 템포의 곡이지만 완성도 있는 멋진 퍼포먼스로 대중의 눈과 귀를 모두 사로잡을 예정이다. 올 가을 아이콘만의 완성도 있는 가을 감성 저격을 기대해보자.
