  If the 1st album [going up] contains Mont s growth process and fresh content, this 2nd album [Awesome up!] contains songs that express the members further growth and their own colors by participating in the lyrics and composition. It s an album.

  In particular, the title song Rock, Paper, Scissors expresses frustration and confusion because it is impossible to understand the feelings of the opposite sex that one likes. It is a song with many elements.

  The other songs are also composed of songs that can feel Mont s distinct color and can easily relate to, and will present Mont s energy that has grown even more.

  4. Tired

  Tired , in which all Mont members participated in composing and writing lyrics, is a trap genre hip-hop song with a strong brass sound that catches your ears. By sympathizing with those who are tired of everyday life rather than consoling them, they expressed familiar feelings like neighborhood friends or work colleagues through lyrics, and expressed extreme tiredness with strong melodies.

  모두가 공감할 수 있는 한층 성장한 몬트 멤버 3명의 진솔한 이야기를 담은 2집[Awesome up]

  1집 [going up]은 몬트의 성장 과정과 풋풋한 내용을 담았다면 이번 2집 [Awesome up!]은 멤버들이 직접 작사, 작곡에 참여하여 한층 더 성장한 모습과 몬트 본인들의 색깔을 표현한 곡들이 담겨있는 앨범이다.

  특히 타이틀곡 가위바위보 는 좋아하는 이성의 마음을 도저히 알 수가 없어 답답함과 혼란스러움을 표현한 내용으로 거울 앞에서 가위바위보 같은 몬트스러운 가사와 중독성 있는 멜로디를 녹여내 리스너들의 공감을 살 수 있는 요소가 많은 곡이다.

  그 외 곡들 역시 몬트만의 뚜렷한 색을 느낄 수 있는 그리고 쉽게 공감할 수 있는 곡들로 구성되어 있으며 한층 더 성장한 몬트의 에너지를 선사할 예정이다.

  1. 가위 바위 보

  타이틀 곡이자 첫 번째 트랙인 ‘가위바위보’는 레트로 팝 팝 댄스 장르의 곡이다.
  특히 후렴구에 나오는 메인 브라스의 멜로디 라인에서는 몸이 절로 움직여지는 마법을 느낄 수 있다.
  1집 타이틀곡 ‘사귈래 말래’에서는 느낄 수 없었던 성숙미가 느껴지는 퍼포먼스도 감상포인트에 한 부분이다.
  “몬트”는 오랜 기간에 걸쳐 만든 타이틀 곡인 만큼 애정이 담긴 곡이라고 밝혔다.

  두번째 트랙 ‘Bae’는 어쿠어스틱 미디움 팝 장르이며 짝사랑하는 이성에게 자신을 어필하려 하는 내용으로 누구나 한번쯤 느껴봤을 법한 짝사랑의 감정과 순수함을 담은 곡이다. 기타의 청량한 사운드를 멜로디에 녹여냈으며 풋풋한 가사 또한 감상 포인트다.

  4.피곤

  몬트 전원이 작곡, 작사에 참여한 ‘피곤’은 트랩 장르이며 귀에 꽂히는 강한 브라스 사운드가 인상적인 힙합곡이다. 일상생활에 지쳐 있는 이들에게 위로보다는 같이 공감을 해줌으로써 동네 친구같은 혹은 회사 동료 같은 친숙한 감정을 가사로 표현했으며, 강렬한 멜로디로 극도의 피곤함을 표현했다.
